The Jarok class was a 25th century Khitomer Alliance starship type, a tier 6-rated Alliance science carrier in Allied Fleet Service operations in the 2410s decade. (STO website: House Reborn: The Jarok Alliance Carrier)
Technical data[]
Following the Khitomer-class battlecruiser and Temer-class raider, the Jarok class was the third ship class synergized between two Khitomer Alliance members. While the AFS Khitomer combined Klingon and Starfleet ship design and the AFS Temer was a Klingon and Romulan joint effort, the AFS Jarok was a Romulan warbird with Federation influence. Specialized as a science carrier, the Jarok class included a pair of hangar bays fitted with Alliance figher squadrons. From 2410 onwards, the AFS Jarok represented its class on the shipyards interfaces operated by New Romulus Shipyards, Klingon Defense Force Order of Builders and Starfleet Shipyards Operations at Khitomer Alliance facilities across the Milky Way Galaxy.
