Jason Senkowski was a pale skinned, auburn haired human Federation Starfleet officer in the late 24th century. He served on Deep Space 9 and aboard the USS Defiant as an engineer in the 2370s and 2380s.
Biography[edit | edit source]
Starfleet career[edit | edit source]
In the year 2376, during Defiant's refit in preparation for its three month tour of exploration in the Gamma Quadrant, Ensign Senkowski led a team repairing hull breaches and replating the ablative armor.
Senkowski hoped to earn a promotion to the rank of lieutenant junior grade by the end of Defiant's three month Gamma Quadrant mission. This did not come to pass, however, as he was still an ensign more than two months later in November 2376. Personal life[edit | edit source]
Senkowski enjoyed reading, both fiction and Starfleet's engineering manuals. He once commented to Ezri Dax that he found the manuals "pithy, concise, and thorough". When accused of reading the Klingon 'bodice ripper' Burning Hearts of Qo'noS, he said he wouldn't waste his time on it, and described the novel as poorly written and "the end of literature as we know it". Despite this, he did rather enjoy Vulcan Love Slave, and noted that evidence pointed to the fact that it had been written by Krem rather than Iskel. (DS9 - Mission Gamma novel: This Gray Spirit)
