Javier Maribona-Picard was a male human who lived in the late 17th century on Earth. At some point in his life, he was a soldier of the Spanish Empire. Maribona-Picard was a distant ancestor of 24th century Starfleet Captain Jean-Luc Picard.
During the brutal Spanish reprisal against the Pueblo Indians responsible for the Pueblo Revolt, Maribona-Picard was one of the soldiers who participated in the reprisals. Maribona-Picard's taking part in these reprisals resulted in his family incurring a stain of blood, which would last for over 23 generations until his descendant Jean-Luc Picard worked out a compromise allowing a colony of Native Americans to remain on their world, Dorvan V, rather than give it up to the Cardassians. (TNG episode: "Journey's End"; TNG - The Captain's Table novel: Dujonian's Hoard)
