Jawaharlal Nehru (November 14, 1889May 27, 1964) was a Human political leader. He was the first Prime Minister of India from 1947 to 1964. He was quoted in TOS novel: The Rise and Fall of Khan Noonien Singh, Volume 1.

"We want no Caesars."

He was the father of Indira Gandhi and the maternal grandfather of Rajiv Gandhi, both of whom would later serve as Prime Minister of India in the 1980s before being assassinated. (TOS novel: The Rise and Fall of Khan Noonien Singh, Volume 1, The Rise and Fall of Khan Noonien Singh, Volume 2)

Nehru Colony was named after him. One of the colony's cities, Indira City, was named after his daughter. In 2364, Marion Dulmur and his then wife Megumi resided in Motilal City, which was named after Nehru's father. (ST - Department of Temporal Investigations novel: Watching the Clock)
