This starship, labeled Battle Cruiser 68 by Starfleet Intelligence, was a Battle Cruiser-class warship that was in service to the Dominion in the late 24th century. (Decipher RPG module: Starships, CCG set: The Dominion)

History[]

In 2374 BC 68 was assigned as the flagship for a fleet of 2,800 ships dispatched from the Gamma Quadrant upon news of the imminent fall of the Dominion-controlled Deep Space 9. The fleet was under the command of the Vorta Loriss and First Kar'ukan. (DS9 episode: "Sacrifice of Angels", Decipher RPG module: Starships, CCG set: The Dominion, ST video game: Star Trek Online)

As they journeyed through the Bajoran wormhole, the ships were willed away by the Prophets. (DS9 episode: "Sacrifice of Angels", Decipher RPG module: Starships, CCG set: The Dominion)

The fleet emerged from the wormhole 35 years later and swiftly occupied Deep Space 9. At some point afterwards Kar'ukan transferred his flag to a Jem'Hadar dreadnought carrier. (STO missions: "Second Wave", "Boldly They Rode")

The final fate of BC 68 is unclear. It may have been one of the battlecruisers destroyed when the Federation retook Deep Space 9 in "Boldly They Rode", or it may have survived and returned to the Gamma Quadrant with Loriss, Eraun, and the female Changeling.
