History[]
Among the first recorded sightings in the Alpha Quadrant was in the year 2374, when one such vessel was encountered by the crew of the Federation Starfleet starship USS Valiant. The Valiant attempted to destroy the vessel with a precision attack to the antimatter storage, but failed and was itself destroyed. (DS9 episode: "Valiant"; STO website: Dev Blogs)

These massive vessels were among the most powerful vessels fielded by the Jem'Hadar, described as being twice the length and mass and having three times the power of a Federation Galaxy-class starship. (DS9 episode: "Valiant"; STO website: Dev Blogs)
The ships were heavily armed and densely defended with polaron weapons, quantum torpedoes, and dual hangar bays capable of deploying Jem'Hadar fighters or even full-size attack ships.
