For other uses, see York.

Jennifer York was a Human woman, a xeno-linguist who served aboard the Federation starship USS Enterprise as a yeoman in the 2270s.

York spoke with an English accent, loved English literature and was a fan of the early 20th century British upper class lifestyle.

History

In 2273 of the Phase II continuity, York thought she found a kindred spirit in Robert Standish, a British earl calling himself Lord Bobby, who claimed to have been taken from England in the late 19th century. She became smitten by him, somewhat due to the influence of a bracelet which magnified his personal charm and ability to influence others. (Phase II episode: "Lord Bobby's Obsession")
