Jeris II is a planet of the Jeris system, located within the territory of the United Federation of Planets.
Some time prior to 2246, a Klingon vessel entered space near the planet. As they were in clear violation of agreements between the Klingon Empire and the United Federation of Planets, they were engaged by the USS Aldrin, under the command of Captain Kamnach. (TOS novel: Burning Dreams)
