Jesse Cochrane was a male Human in the 21st century. He was the husband of Hilde Cochrane and the father of Zefram Cochrane. He raised his son as an intellectual. In 2044, at the University of Chicago, Zefram's parents were killed in a government purge of academia. (ST reference: Federation: The First 150 Years)
