Jimi Hendrix (November 27, 1942September 18, 1970) was an American musician, singer-songwriter and guitarist who lived during the 20th century. He was the lead singer of The Jimi Hendrix Experience.

When Major Kira Nerys and Chief of Operations Miles O'Brien briefly travelled to San Francisco in 1967, Hendrix's cover of the song "Hey Joe" was playing on the radio of a nearby hippie van. (DS9 episode: "Past Tense")

At Woodstock in August 1969, Roberta Lincoln shared a joint with Hendrix. After mind melding with Lincoln in 2269, Spock saw this incident in her memories. (TOS novel: Assignment: Eternity)
