Jinz was a 23rd century Human man, an admiral who served in Starfleet.
Biography[]
Jinz was the sixth generation of his family to serve in Starfleet. In the 23rd century, he fathered a son, Jinz. He urged his son to apply to Starfleet Academy, and the boy accepted only to appease him.
By 2266, Admiral Jinz had become a high-ranking member of Starfleet Command. In 2266, his son was unexpectedly transferred to the starship USS Enterprise despite having requested service at a home base. Shortly afterward, his son died on the Sanoora host planet. James T. Kirk privately believed that Jinz would still be alive had his father not been so insistent on controlling Jinz's life. (TOS comic: "Planet of No Life")
