Jirex was a 20th century Talaxian male. He was known for writings, including poems, short stories and novels; he was noted for his mastery of the language of the Talaxians and providing both entertainment and morals in his works.

The works that he wrote included Thousand Parables and Selected Works of Jirex.

Jirex lived during the Talaxian's 20th century and, as of the Human 24th century, was considered "the greatest Talaxian writer of the past several centuries". (Decipher RPG module: Player's Guide)
