John Ericcsen was a 20th century human Augment who ruled over Europe during Earth's Eugenics Wars. (ST reference: Federation: The First 150 Years)

Biography[]

Kelvin timeline[]

According to Khan Noonien Singh, Ericcsen was a product of genetic engineering who served on the Augment Council during the 1990s decade on Earth. When he and his fellow Augments then seized power in the year 1992, Ericcsen became the dictator of all European nations, uniting its government to become known as Pax Europa. His control extended as far as Greenland and Iceland. (TOS - Khan comic: "Issue 2")

He then expanded his empire ruthlessly, and by 1996 had taken control of Morocco, Algeria, Libya, Tunisia, and Egypt from fellow Augment Ama Owusu.

Later that year, the Chinese resistance infected him with a bio-weapon. He warned Khan that his affliction was keyed to Augment bio-markers, making them all susceptible, and he died of it. (TOS - Khan comic: "Issue 3")

Appendices[]

Background[]

"John Ericcsen" was the name originally conceived in early drafts of the script for TOS episode: "Space Seed" for the character that became Khan Noonien Singh. The name was later used as the cover name established by Alexander Marcus in Star Trek Into Darkness, before being dubbed over with John Harrison.
