John Harris Behan (23 October 1844 – 7 June 1912) was a Human law enforcement officer in the Arizona in the late 19th century.
Biography[]
Behan was best known for being sheriff at the time of the Gunfight at the O. K. Corral, and the attempted prosecution of the men responsible for those deaths.
In the year 2268, Behan's identity was created to help in a bizarre, and rather inaccurate recreation of the shootout created by the Melkotians. (TOS episode: "Spectre of the Gun", TOS novelization: The Last Gunfight)
