Johnny Mandel (born 23 November 1925) was a 20th and 21st century Human man, a jazz composer and arranger from the planet Earth.

Biography[]

Among his most famous compositions is "Emily", which was covered by Junior Mance, and which held sentimental meaning to William T. Riker, reminding him of when he had first met Deanna Troi on Betazed and fell head over heels in love with her. (TNG - A Time to... novel: A Time to Heal)
