Jonathan DeNoux was a male human in Starfleet in the 24th century.
Prior to 2370, DeNoux held the rank of Lieutenant, and worked with Padraig Daniels investigating the bombing of a factory on Rigel III. (TNG - Slings and Arrows eBook: The Oppressor's Wrong)
Following that mission, DeNoux transferred to the USS Odyssey. He was lost, along with all hands, when that ship was destroyed by Jem'Hadar forces in 2370. (DS9 - The Brave and the Bold, Book One novella: The Second Artifact; DS9 episode: "The Jem'Hadar")
In 2372, Cadet Bael Nomine used the holographic image of Jonathan DeNoux to hide his own identity while working for Admiral James Leyton on Starbase 375 (though using the name Jonas Abidah). Daniels recognized DeNoux's face while visiting the starbase, forcing "Abidah" to subtly alter his holographic appearance. (TNG - Slings and Arrows eBook: The Oppressor's Wrong)
