Biography[]
In 2371, Pollard chaired the biology department at Starfleet Academy. He managed staff that included professors Rugera Klein, Thomas Laue, Stacia Summersworth, and Trel Varghorne. He oversaw a curriculum that included 111 Principles of Biology, 114 Perspectives on Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering, 220 Microbiology, 203 Principles of Genetics, 310 Principles of Exobiology, and 495 Investigations in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.
