For other uses, see Joseph.

Joseph was a male Human who, according to the Biblical Book of Genesis, was one of the fathers of the Hebrew nation, responsible for bringing his family into Egypt during a time of famine.

Professor Sonek Pran told a version of the story of Joseph to his history students, interjecting a nameless character who, by pointing Joseph in the direction his brothers had gone, allowed the story to proceed. Pran used this story to illustrate how small actions could have a significant impact on history. (ST novel: A Singular Destiny)
