Joshua Norton

Joshua Abraham Norton (c. 1819 – 8 January 1880) was a Human living on Earth in the late 19th century.

Biography[]

The self-proclaimed "Imperial Majesty Emperor Norton I", was a celebrated citizen of San Francisco, California, who in 1859 declared himself "Emperor of these United States and Protector of Mexico". When he aided Spock in 1867, he identified himself in this manner, confusing the Vulcan. (TOS novel: Ishmael)
