This character is a member of the Riker family.

Joshua Riker was a male Human who lived in the early part of the 25th century. He was the son of Thomas Riker, a transporter duplicate of William T. Riker.

Following the end of the Dominion War and the collapse of the Cardassian Union, Thomas Riker and many of the prisoners of war at the Lazon II camp were both forgotten and neglected. However, Riker managed to convince his fellow prisoners to work together in order to survive and build a community. During that time, Thomas Riker had a son named Joshua who took over from his father when he died of heart failure while he was carrying his critically injured wife back to camp where she died as well.

In 2409 Joshua Riker and several of his fellow Lazonites were kidnapped by the True Way's Gul Brun and imprisoned in a base in the Badlands. They were subsequently rescued when a starship dispatched from Deep Space 9 attacked the base in search of Brun, whom Riker helped to capture. (STO - Cardassian Struggle mission: "Badlands")
