The gateway in .

The gateway in 2410.

The Jouret System Starship Gateway[1], also known as Dyson Sphere Gateway, was an ancient Iconian space station, a Solanae-built class IV[1] Iconian gateway in Iconian Empire service 200.000 years before the 25th century. (STO - Solanae Dyson Sphere mission: "Sphere of Influence")

This station was built by the Solanae and active around the time of the fall of the Iconian Empire. Following the fall of Ancient Iconia, the stations of the Iconian Gateway Network entered a dormant state in subspace. In the year 2409, a team led by Ambassador Worf reset the network to save New Romulus. This reactivated this ship-sized gateway in the Tau Dewa sector block. It emerged in or near the orbit of Jouret IV in the Jouret star system. Following the defeat of an incoming Elachi fleet by the Obelisk 1 and allies, this gateway was claimed by the Romulan Republic. The USS Enterprise-F determined that the exit was now at a fixed point saturated with Omega particles. (STO - Solanae Dyson Sphere mission: "Sphere of Influence")

The Dyson Sphere Gateway became the permanent connection between its location in the Jouret system in the galaxy's Beta Quadrant and another class IV gateway in the Allied Zone of the Solanae Dyson Sphere in the Delta Quadrant. (STO - Solanae Dyson Sphere mission: "Circles within Circles")

In January 2410, an Undine fleet broke into the Jenolan Dyson Sphere, deeper in the Delta Quadrant, and traversed the class IV gate from the Jenolan sphere to the Solanae sphere before emerging in the Beta Quadrant and targeting Earth Spacedock and Qo'noS. The allies repelled the Undine and formalized their pact into the Khitomer Alliance. (STO - Solanae Dyson Sphere mission: "Surface Tension")

Within the reactivated Iconian Gateway Network, the Jouret System Starship Gateway was a key asset of the Alliance's four-quadrant strategy aimed at exploring the Milky Way Galaxy through survey squadrons. (STO Collection Issue 07: "USS Pathfinder")

By 2411, the Dyson Sphere Gateway network enabled instantaneous travel from the Jouret system to three locations: Gamma Quadrant via Iconian space gateway, Delta Quadrant via Jenolan Dyson Sphere and Solanae Dyson Sphere via Iconian space gateway. (STO - Gamma Quadrant mission: "Quark's Lucky Seven")
