The Journal of Starfleet Physicians was a 23rd century academic journal which released medical research articles for peer review by physicians.
History and specifics[]
In the year 2270, Doctor Leonard McCoy proposed to write a monograph for the journal after an identity transference occurred aboard the Federation starship USS Enterprise between James T. Kirk, Spock, Nyota Uhura, and Hikaru Sulu during the ship's visit to Briamos. After the mission was over, they were willing to be interviewed about the experience. Sulu said he'd talk about it, so long as he didn't have to re-experience it. (TAS - Log Ten novelization: The Slaver Weapon)
