A friendly reminder regarding spoilers! As always, the expanded Trek universe is in a period of major upheaval with the continuations of Strange New Worlds and Prodigy, the advent of new eras in gaming with the Star Trek Adventures RPG and Star Trek Online, as well as other eventful releases such as Section 31, the ongoing IDW Star Trek comic and spin-off Star Trek: Defiant. Therefore, please be courteous to other users who may not be aware of current developments by using the {{spoiler}}, {{spoilers}} OR {{majorspoiler}} tags when adding new information from sources less than six months old (even if it is minor info). Changeling Bashir

The Changeling Julian Bashir in 2373.

Julian Bashir was replaced by a Changeling after being kidnapped by the Dominion during his trip to Meezan IV. The real Bashir was taken to Internment Camp 371 and real Changeling took his appearance and went to Deep Space 9. (DS9 episode: "In Purgatory's Shadow")

The Changeling had already replaced Bashir by the time when Odo found an infant Changeling. (DS9 novella: The Badlands, Part IV)

The Bashir Changeling sabotaged the attempt to close the Bajoran wormhole with a phase-conjugate graviton beam and later attempted to destroy Deep Space 9 by triggering a supernova in B'hava'el. The Changeling failed in their attempt and was killed. (DS9 episodes: "In Purgatory's Shadow", "By Inferno's Light")
