A jumja stick is a Bajoran confectionery food that originates from the sap of the jumja tree. The confection was colloquially called "glop on a stick".

Jumja stick kiosks exist on Deep Space 9's Promenade and have been operated by Doran, Lysia Arlin and Leeta. (DS9 episodes: "In the Hands of the Prophets", "Shadowplay", "Ferengi Love Songs", DS9 novel: Fallen Heroes, DS9 reference: Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Technical Manual)

In 2375, after Kira Nerys told her she disliked jumja sticks for being too sweet, Senator Kimara Cretak recommended Romulan osol twists. Cretak herself had sampled a jumja stick. (DS9 episode: "Image in the Sand")

When Leeta moved into the Nagal Residence on Ferenginar after Rom became Grand Nagus, she programmed the replicator to make jumja sticks. (DS9 novel: Ferenginar: Satisfaction is Not Guaranteed)

In 2376, Thirishar ch'Thane became quite fond of jumja sticks when he decided to try alien foods when he was assigned to Deep Space 9. (DS9 novel: Demons of Air and Darkness)
