The ka'yun was a type of hand-held weapon, a sword created by and used by the Daa'Vit civilization.

History and specifics[]

In the year 2367, Captain Morgen visited Worf's quarters on the USS Enterprise-D to gift him a Daa'Vit ka'yun blade. He placed the leather-wrapped package on Worf's s'naiah wood desk. (TNG novel: Reunion)
