By the 2270s decade, Kaare was serving as an ambassador for the Klingon Empire.
In the year 2277, Kaare was chosen to represent the Empire at diplomatic talks with the Federation to be held on the planet Pollox IV. Three Kl'ar-class vessels, commanded by Captain Kang, were ordered to escort Kaare to Pollox, which also operated under Federation protection.
