The Kal'Hyah was a Klingon ritual which was the path to clarity and can be considered the Klingon race's version of a 'bachelor party'. It is considered a mental and spiritual journey where the groom and his closest friends must participate in six trials over the couse of four days that consist of deprivation, blood, pain, sacrifice, anguish, and death.
