Ensign Kala was a 24th century Human, a Starfleet bridge officer who was assigned to the Federation starship USS Defiant in the 2370s decade.

Biography[]

In the year 2372, Kala was at the secondary tactical station when the Defiant engaged in battle near the planet Lazon II. (DS9 - Strange New Worlds 8 short story: "Promises Made")
