For other uses, see Kala.

The Kala was one of the Royal Circles in the Tarn Empire.

The circle symbol for the Kala was five small pewter colored stars in a circle. Members of the Kala circle will have this symbol tattooed on their forehead.

The Kala circle was the reactionary circle to the Karuuki circle. The circle was willing to make alliances with powers opposed to the Federation.

Many members of the Kala clan died during the Federation-Tarn War of the 2160s. The members of the Kala circle also fought Klingons at Garamora. The veterans of both battles were held in high honor by the circle.

Harna Karish was a member of the Kala circle.
