Kar-pek was a sumo wrestler in the 24th century. He once competed in the 77th Emperor's Cup against an opponent named Takahashi.

Biography[]

Captain Kathryn Janeway watched Kar-pek compete during the competition, and Chakotay and Tuvok were aware of the match as well. Janeway recalled that Kar-pek was forced out of the circle in less than three seconds by Takahashi. Both Chakotay and Tuvok disagreed, stating that the match went to Kar-pek due to Takahashi's knee breaking the sand. (VOY episode: "Latent Image")
