Karan Adabwe was a female member of Starfleet in the 24th century. Adabwe served on Deep Space 9 as an engineer.

In 2371, Adabwe was part of Miles O'Brien's crew aboard the USS Orinoco during the mission to recover the Orb of Contemplation. (DS9 - Prophecy and Change short story: "The Orb of Opportunity"

In April 2376, Adabwe was injured when the station was attacked by a group of Jem'Hadar. Adabwe received burns from a plasma leak and was then frozen in a hull breach.
