- For the primary universe counterpart, see Kasidy Yates.
In the mirror universe, Kasidy Yates was a Terran female who lived during the 24th century. In the 2370s, she was a senior member of the Terran Rebellion. She was one of the few female leaders of the Rebellion and was known for being pragmatic.
In 2375, after it was revealed Zek and Julian Bashir had built several Defiant-class starships at Empok Nor, Yates agreed to join them, although she was uneasy at the thought of attacking civilians. Miles O'Brien saw her decision as being a betrayal.
Yates later took command of one the ships and named it the Terra Victor. After the Klingon-Cardassian Alliance began an attack on the space station, Yates and her crew were killed when the Terra Victor was destroyed as it attempted to engage the enemy. (DS9 - Mirror Universe novel: Saturn's Children)
After the victory of the Terran Rebellion in 2378, O'Brien mourned her death. (ST - Mirror Universe novel: Rise Like Lions)
