Kayolane is a sedative drug used in the 23rd and 24th centuries.

History and specifics[]

It can be administered from a Starfleet hypospray and is able to render a patient unconscious from one to six hours. (Decipher RPG module: Player's Guide)

Light doses will induce lethargy and grogginess, while larger doses induce anesthesia. Dosage can be precisely calibrated for an individual's metabolism to last for a specific length of time. (Last Unicorn RPG module: Star Trek: The Next Generation Players' Guide)
