Kayshon was a Tamarian male, the first of his species to join the United Federation of Planets' Starfleet in the late 24th century.
Biography[]
In the year 2381, he joined the crew of the USS Cerritos under the command of Captain Carol Freeman, as the new security chief. (LD episode: "Kayshon, His Eyes Open")
Later that year, he was among the Cerritos crew who got trapped by the malevolent artificial intelligence Badgey on the holodeck. During the lower deckers' effort to earn enough merit points for Badgey to release them, Kayshon oversaw a simulation of the shuttle bay alongside Captain Carol Freeman. In one of Badgey's drills, Kayshon joined an away team mission to revisit Galardon. Unfortunately, Badgey shut off the universal translator. Beckett Mariner was able to close the language barrier by using some cultural phrases Kayshon was familiar with. (LD video game: The Badgey Directive episode: "Boimler, His Eyes Red")
Alternate timelines[]
In an alternate timeline, Kayshon was pulled into the temporal anomaly crisis. Kayshon was skilled in the fields of command, diplomacy, andsecurity. Among the equipment he brought to bear in away team missions were a knife, photon grenade, security codes, a stun grenade, and an emergency transporter armband. (ST video game: Timelines)
