Kecho Lifaq the Shrewd was a Ruddy Orion man who lived in the late 23rd century. He was a member of the Lifaq Family, one of the leading families of the Orion Frontier Mercantile Association. He was born to a well-to-do branch of the Lifaq family at the lower end of the Orion upper class.
After training in helm and navigation areas, Kecho rose to the position of captain, and listed his occupation as "pirate". By the age of 48 in the late 23rd century, he captained the Spacelane Specter, a Lightning-class starship.
In addition to the Orion language, he could speak both Galacta and Klingonaase. He could also play klin zha go. Kecho had 4300 credits in his bank account. (FASA RPG module: The Orions: Book of Deep Knowledge)
