Keith Birdsong (14 July 1959 – 4 June 2019) was a prolific artist who painted more than 100 Star Trek novel covers for Pocket Books in the 1990s and early 2000s decades. In addition, he provided illustrations for reference works, board games, trading cards, and collector plates. He also designed the Star Trek 25th Anniversary Postal Cachet.
