Kellig vestai-Messesh was a 23rd century Klingon man of the Human fusion race who served in the Klingon Defense Force.
Biography[]
Kellig was born in the mid-2240s to the Messesh House, and was a first or second cousin to the Linehead. He gained authoritative expertise in mechanical engineering and took intensive studies in small equipment systems technology. By the late 2260s, he was an engineer. By the 2280s, he had attained the rank of lieutenant commander. Among Klingon colonists, he had the second highest dexterity.
In 2283, when he was 37 years old, each citizen's vote was taken to decide the colony's future. Kellig supported the continued neutrality of Sheridan's World but if forced to choose an alliance was slightly more likely to desire the colony go under Federation control rather than join the Klingon Empire.
