Crewman Kellin.
Kellin was a 24th century Human man, a Starfleet crewman in the 2370s decade who was assigned to AR-558 during the Dominion War.
Biography[]
Ezri Dax befriended Kellin when she arrived on the planet in 2375. Kellin and Dax later worked together and found a way to move the Houdini mines and use them against the Dominion's Jem'Hadar troops on the planet. After the Jem'Hadar began an assault on the Starfleet position, Kellin was killed, although he saved Ezri before being shot. (DS9 episode: "The Siege of AR-558")
Reese recalled Kellin several months later. (DS9 - Tales of the Dominion War short story: "Requital")
In 2376, Nog remembered Kellin and his death at the hands of the Jem'Hadar. (DS9 - Mission Gamma novel: Cathedral)
