The Kesprytt were a type of sapient alien lifeform, a humanoid civilization native to homeworld planet Kesprytt III, located in the Kesprytt star system somewhere in the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrant.

The Kesprytt were divided into two rival nation-states, the Kes and the Prytt, which by the 2370s had almost no contact with each other. (TNG episode: "Attached")
At some point the two nations formed the Kesprytt Republic. While it was a form of planetary government tasked with relations with other civilizations, it was a "split republic" that still maintained a division between the Kes and the Prytt. (ST video game: Infinite)
- In ST video game: Infinite, The Kesprytt Republic exists already by 2346. While it contradicts the original episode, it was likely done for gameplay reasons, as the game's engine does not allow for two separate governments on a planet.
