This character is a member of the Riker family.

Biography[]

Kestra Troi was Deanna's elder sister, who died at a young age. (TNG episode: "Dark Page")

Thaddeus Troi-Riker was Kestra's older brother. He was born in the year 2381. (PIC episode: "Nepenthe")

By 2386, Thaddeus lived with his parents aboard the USS Titan. (PIC novel: The Dark Veil)

In the 2390s, the Troi-Riker family lived on the planet Nepenthe. Kestra's brother Thaddeus died at some point before 2399 due to an untreatable disease. (PIC episode: "Nepenthe")

Legacy[]

By the 2460s, Deanna and Will were dead. Their son Ian Kyle Riker had outlived them, his youngest child, and his sister. (ST - Strange New Worlds VII short story: "Guardians")

It is possible that events of the Strange New Worlds VII short story might not end up matching the evolving continuity of newer canon Star Trek. In particular, there is a degree of unlikelihood that Will and Deanna might have another son.

Alternate timeline[]

In an alternate timeline beset by the Q Continuum's temporal anomaly crisis, versions of Kestra Troi-Riker appeared in the 2380s decade and joined Starfleet to help Q resolve the crisis. (ST video game: Timelines)
