This character is a member of the Troi family native to the mirror universe.
For the primary universe counterpart, see Kestra Troi.

In the mirror universe, Kestra Troi (2329-2371) was a Betazoid / Terran hybrid who lived during the 24th century. She was the daughter of Lwaxana and Ian Troi and the elder sister of Deanna Troi.

As a child, Kestra tried to teach Deanna methods of creating mental shields that would keep their mother out of her mind.

Once she was older, she ran away from Betazed to find her father, but by the year 2371, she had not been able to do so.

She eventually became involved in the Terran Rebellion. In that year, Kestra returned to Betazed with Jean-Luc Picard in order to assassinate Lursa and B'Etor. While Picard was on the planet, Kestra remained on the Stargazer. When the Duras sisters arrived, their ship detected the Stargazer and destroyed it, killing Kestra. (TNG - Mirror Universe short story: "The Sacred Chalice")
