Besides the Tlhingtuj Mountains, other regions of interest in and near Ketha included the Kintak Jungle in the south, separated from Ketha City by the River Skral and the Ketha Lowlands. (ST reference: Hidden Universe Travel Guide: The Klingon Empire)

In the early 25th century, the Lady Sirella of the House of Martok maintained the Great House's estate in the Ketha Lowlands. According to Federation-aimed edition of the qeS'a', Ketha was once ruled by a royal family and a warlord. The province was eventually conquered by Kahless the Unforgettable. (ST reference: The Klingon Art of War: Ancient Principles of Ruthless Honor)

Following the Hur'q Invasion in the 14th century, the Great Houses of the First City supported the trade routes traversing Ketha Province. By 2409, the estate of the House of Martok was maintained by Lady Sirella in the lush Ketha Lowlands.
