Kevin J. Anderson (1962– ) is an American science fiction novelist. He has cowritten a TNG graphic novel and a DS9 young adult novel with his wife, fellow author Rebecca Moesta, one using their pseudonym "Kem Antilles".
Outside of Star Trek, Anderson is known for authoring a large number of Star Wars novels, including 14 with Moesta, as well as five Star Wars graphic novels. He has also written licensed novels for the Captain Nemo, Dune, Superman, Titan AE, and X-Files franchises. He co-authored two books with fellow Star Trek author Kristine Kathryn Rusch, contributed to the Fantastic Voyage series by Isaac Asimov, and wrote an X-Files graphic novel illustrated by Gordon Purcell. An early short story, "Carrier", was published by FASA Corporation in Stardate Magazine, Issue 5/6, in March/April 1985.
