Kgar vestai-Solazarn was a 23rd century Klingon man of the Human fusion race who served in the Klingon Defense Force and was an operative for Imperial Intelligence.
Biography[]
Kgar was born in the late 2230s decade to the Solazarn House, a citizen of the Klingon Empire, and was a first or second cousin to the Linehead. He gained authoritative expertise in modern marksmanship. He took qualified training in administration, negotiation and unarmed combat. He was adept at chess and Galacta, and somewhat skilled at poker. He disliked Humans and carried himself in a brusque manner.
Kgar was aboard the vessel that explored Sheridan's World a year after it was discovered by Starfleet.
In the year 2268, on reference stardate 2/09, he was assigned as Supply Chief and Quartermaster for the 200 who settled in the city of Continuity on the Human/Klingon colony of Sheridan's World. (FASA RPG modules: Conflict of Interests, Star Trek IV Sourcebook Update)
As a covert security operative he was ordered to record any treasonous behavior among the Klingon populace. By the 2280s, he had attained the rank of lieutenant commander.
In 2283, when he was 44 years old, delegates from the warpshuttles USS Impala and IKV Intimidator approached the colony under the invitation of the Organians to take a citizen vote on choosing an alliance or becoming independent. Delegate Kilara vestai-Subaiesh was assigned to retrieve his Intelligence reports. Kgar was tired of the posting and looked forward to a new assignment. He supported an alliance with the Klingon Empire but if forced to choose another option was more likely to desire an alliance with the Federation over the continued neutrality of Sheridan's World.
