Kilana was a 24th century Vorta woman, a commander whose various clones worked for the Dominion in the 2370s decade.

Biography[]

Weyoun's second clone once had a romantic relationship with one of her clones. (DS9 - Millennium novel: Inferno)

In the year 2373, Kilana led a group of Jem'Hadar soldiers to Torga IV to retrieve a Founder from a crashed Jem'Hadar fighter. After destroying a Federation runabout in orbit, Kilana and her squad beamed down and discovered that the vessel had already been claimed by Captain Benjamin Sisko and a team from Deep Space 9. Kilana and Sisko agreed to meet and Kilana requested that the ship be handed over to her, and Sisko and his team would be treated fairly and taken back to Federation space. Sisko refused the offer, but the meeting served only as a ruse to allow a Jem'Hadar soldier to get aboard the ship.

Getting more desperate, Kilana once again met with Sisko and said that he could keep the ship only if they could retrieve an item from the vessel. When Sisko countered that if she told him what the item was, he could bring it out, she refused and ordered attacks against the attack ship. After sufficient time, the Founder had died due to its injuries and the Jem'Hadar soldiers killed themselves as a result. Sisko allowed Kilana to retrieve the remains of the Founder and Sisko allowed her to go on her way. Sisko however, was in possession of a Jem'Hadar fighter, a ship which would prove useful during the coming Dominion War. (DS9 episode: "The Ship")

Alternate realities[]

In an alternate timeline, Kilana 2 and her Jem'Hadar were transported to the Delta Quadrant by the Caretaker. She attempted to rejoin the Dominion by returning to the Gamma Quadrant. In 2374, she was found by Kathryn Janeway. After a deal with the Voth was unsuccessful, she found herself trapped in fluidic space. (VOY - Myriad Universes - Infinity's Prism novella: Places of Exile)
