Kimolu was a 24th century beluga whale, a Starfleet officer in the 2380s decade who served in Cetacean ops aboard the Federation starship USS Cerritos under Captain Carol Freeman.

Biography[]

Kimolu initially planned to be a doctor, but changed majors in college after learning of medical circumstances that would have affected her sterility. (LD video game: The Badgey Directive mission: "Rage")

In the year 2381, Kimolu was among the Cerritos crew who got trapped by the malevolent artificial intelligence Badgey on the holodeck. During the lower deckers' effort to earn enough merit points for Badgey to release them, Kimolu oversaw a simulation of Cetacean ops. (LD video game: The Badgey Directive)

Kimolu spotted Quark and flirted with him, saying that he had a "nice butt". Quark wondered how many parts of the ship were accessible to Cetacean ops. (LD video game: The Badgey Directive episode: "Fear Doctor")

In one of Badgey's drills forced upon trapped personnel, Kimolu and Matt joined the away team on a mission to the water planet Argo. There, they assisted Brad Boimler and Sam Rutherford, who had been medically altered into water breathers. When sur-snake tears were needed to reverse their mutations, Kimolu said many harsh, mean things to make the creature sob. (LD video game: The Badgey Directive episode: "Eau de Ambergris")

Alternate realities[]

In an alternate timeline beset by the temporal anomaly crisis, Kimolu and Matt evaded a manifestation of Captain Ahab in Cetacean Ops for a time, but he eventually cornered them, requiring assistance. (ST video game: Timelines mission: "They Task Him")
