Kinjer Prime was a planet located in the space of the galaxy's Beta Quadrant, in the Orion sector of the Sirius sector block. In orbit of the Kinjer star system, Kinjer Prime was obliterated over 6,000 years ago when primary star Kinjer collapsed. By the 25th century, the planetary debris field is a hazard to navigation along several trade routes, and associated kinoplasmic radiation also affects computer systems and navigation sensors.
