Captain Kinzie was a human who served in the Federation Starfleet during the mid-22nd century.
In 2168, Kinzie was in command of the Daedalus-class USS Horizon, making first contact with the inhabitants of Sigma Iotia II in that year. Kinzie attempted to resolve the fighting between the Iotians by forcing them into a truce through superior firepower. Unfortunately after leaving Simga Iotia II, Kinzie, and the rest of the Horizon crew, left behind a research copy of Chicago Mobs of the Twenties shortly before the vessel was lost.
