Kishkik Sajithen was a 22nd century Chelon Rigelian, identifying as female while being hermaphroditic.
Biography[]
In the year 2164, Sajithen was one of the four directors on the governing board of the Rigelian Trade Commission representing her homeworld, Rigel III. In that year, she was present at the board meeting with Starfleet Admiral Jonathan Archer and Federation Commissioner of Foreign Affairs Soval regarding Rigel's admission into the Federation.
In June of that year, after the First Families of Rigel conducted a raid on the archives of Rigel V, stole top secret files and abducted two Starfleet officers, Sajithen participated in an emergency meeting of the board with Lieutenant Commander Travis Mayweather present on behalf of the USS Pioneer. The use of Rigelian hypnoids during the attack pointed to the involvment of a radical factions on Rigel III. Sajithen felt that it was and angle worth pursuing, and since she had ties to that tribe, she accompanied Mayweather's team and helped to convince them to provide information on the plot. After the resolution of the crisis, her ties to the radical faction became public knowledge and she was not re-elected for the Governing Board along with two of her co-directors.
After officially admitted into the Federation, Sajithen was elected to represent the United Rigel Worlds and Colonies on the Federation Council, despite the matters that caused her to lose her directorship. (ENT - Rise of the Federation novel: Tower of Babel)
