The Kiwavi was a 25th century Undine bioship, a tier 6-rated Kiwavi-class bio-cruiser in service in fluidic space and the Milky Way Galaxy of the primary universe in the 2410s decade. (STO website: Legacy: Undine Ships Slide into the Infinity Lock Box!)
History and specifications[]
The Kiwavi was the first vessel equipped with the enhanced fluidic conduit projector. This special weapon allowed the Kiwavi to bring bubbles of fluidic space into the primary universe, which hindered and damaged hostile targets. The design of this bioship and its weapon console was an evolution of the tier 5-rated Dromias-class bio-cruiser from the 2400s. In the year 2410, the Kiwavi, alongside the bioship Cheirax, was acquired by the pact between the United Federation of Planets, Klingon Empire and Romulan Republic, the Khitomer Alliance. From 2410 onwards, flag officers of the Alliance could deploy the Kiwavi alongside other spacecraft for assignments across the galaxy's quadrants as part of Operation: Delta Rising's four-quadrant strategy. (STO - New Dawn mission: "Admiralty System")
